The National Fire Protection Association recognized Post's talent in writing children's songs. They commissioned him to write and sing the songs for their "Learn Not to Burn Firesafety Songs." Jim has also recently recorded a new series of songs for Breaking the Sounds' Barrier, a musical approach to phonemic awareness and reading readiness for children.
